The Marina Bay in the night will bring "the more beautiful the night" to the extreme. (From the official website ilightsingapore.gov.sg)
01.MOTHEREARTH
This is a light installation that can make people feel the climate change. Using artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms, it turns publicly available data from Singapore's weather records and other environmental statistics into stunning visuals of moving lights, colors and sounds, hoping to draw viewers' attention to the issue of climate change.
Plastic Whale
The device is a whale-shaped, life-size inflatable device illuminated by lights of different colors, made from plastic bottles and other plastics. The lights are programmed to come on at intervals, outlining the plight of whales and other sea creatures struggling to survive in a sea of plastic waste.
Here and There
Like a seesaw, Here and There's light changes depending on how tilted it is. The artist portrays this balancing act as a metaphor for the world's social problems.
Eyes of the Sea
Let's put it another way, from the point of view of the precious marine life that lives beneath the ocean, the beautiful deep blue waves are far less alluring. The installation is transformed from discarded plastic bottles to resemble mesmerizing ocean waves and cast wavy shadows on the ground.
Light Canvas
In front of this installation, you can use the light in your phone to illuminate. By capturing and reflecting light from our surroundings, it creates a wonderful sense of wonder: what are we willing to do for a more sustainable future?
The venue basically adopts monochromatic lighting plus lighting control 1-10V VT-C301, which is simple and gorgeous, and sets different brightness for different backgrounds to achieve colorful effects.
