1. Theory of LED Controller--Introduction
LED lights usually contain an LED array, and the LED controller is based on a pre-set program, which can control switches in various positions in the LED light circuit, so that the LED array emits light regularly, thereby displaying specific text or graphics. These LEDs are connected together in series and should be driven by a constant current power supply, because the brightness of each LED is determined by its current, and the current must be strictly controlled to ensure the normal operation of the LED lights.
2. Theory of LED controller--classification
The LED controller is a switch that controls various positions in the LED light circuit through chip processing, and is mainly divided into the following categories:
Low-voltage LED product high-power controller ---- the general design voltage is 12V-36V, and the number of LEDs in each loop is 3-6 in series. The advantages are low voltage, simple structure and easy design; the disadvantages are: when the product scale is large, the current is large, and a low voltage switching power supply needs to be configured.
High-voltage LED product controller----The design voltage is AC/DC 220V voltage, the number of LEDs in each loop is 36-48 in series, and the current limiting methods are divided into two types: resistor current limiting and resistor capacitor series current limiting.
Low-voltage LED product serial controller----Serial controller is characterized by a large number of control channels, and uses serial signal transmission to achieve the purpose of control. Generally, the control of 512 units only requires 4 control lines.
3. Theory of LED controller
