How to Choose A CCT Controller
To know what the right color temperature and color rendering index (CRI) should be for various applications. Although there are rules of thumb that typically provide a positive outcome, color can be so subjective. With LED, your options have become almost limitless. Selecting the right color for your application can be pretty overwhelming.
In this article, we'll address the first piece of the puzzle: selecting the right color temperature.
There are lots of options on the market for LED CCT strip lights (also called LED CCT tape lights or LED CCT ribbon lights) and there is no clear-cut standard for how to choose LED strip lights. We have created this guide to educate experts and newcomers alike.
Adjust the warmth of your LED lights with an LED colour temperature controller. Our specific types of CCT remote controls can make it a lot easier to cycle through the different temperature of colours you can get from a colour temperature LED tape setup. A controller is an essential part of an LED lighting setup as it means you can be in full control of your LEDs and how they look in the room. Tailor your lights to all kinds of needs with an adjustable white LED strip controller.

Location
Where would you wish to light? Residential, commercial, retail, outdoors?
What particularly will you be lighting?

Will the lights be exposed to the elements or liquids?
What material will the lighting be attached to?
How many feet do you need?
What kind of colors are you highlighting in your space?
This gets further into CRI, which we will address in the next article, but the color of the light still plays a role. If you have blue, silver, or white colors in your space, you may want to consider cooler color temperatures. If you have wood tones, golds, or reds, you may want to consider warmer color temperatures. Of course, there are exceptions to the rule, it’s often a good idea to select a color temperature that complements the color of the environment. It’s also worth noting that if you have neutral tones in your space, the color of the lighting can easily swing the feel of your space from warm and inviting to energetic and active.
