"Spring Bamboo" was created by the world-renowned architectural firm KPF. The designer of "Spring Bamboo" once said: "Some buildings are the carrier of space, and some buildings are the carrier of world outlook, cultural outlook and the spirit of the times. Spring bamboo shoots belong to the latter. "


The design of the conical tower reflects the boldness of geometry, and the unique "sprout" shape emerges from the ground, implying the rapid and large-scale emergence of new things, reflecting the pride of China Resources Group in the past and confidence in the future, and it has also become a city in Shenzhen. The vivid portrayal of the vibrant young and pioneering city complements the city spirit of Shenzhen people who dare to fight and are not afraid of difficulties.

Vteck and China Resources jointly created a building intelligent control system, which can precisely control different floors through the bus, set the scene, and show a specific scene at a specific time. Vteck's DALI system is tailor-made for China Resources.

The night scene is a sublimation of the daytime architectural effect. Iconic super high-rise projects often represent the spirit of the city, like the IFC in Hong Kong, which has the nobility of overlooking the heroes. The use of floor-by-floor lighting can reflect the towering and tall buildings; another example is the twin towers in Malaysia, which are exquisite, elegant, and three-dimensional. The power of architecture to become a classic; for the "Spring Bamboo Shoots", we also hope to present an artistic, classic and timeless image, show architectural aesthetics, artistic aesthetics, and lighting aesthetics, convey to the public the core of CR's corporate spirit, social responsibility, and The connotation and taste of the city of Shenzhen.


The overall lighting design tone is clean, three-dimensional and upward. In terms of the distribution of brightness levels, the crown of the tower is like a lighthouse, which is the part with the highest level of brightness; the base of the tower is stable, combined with the interior of the indoor lobby, and the brightness is second; the tower body and the outline are integrated into the surrounding buildings and street environment to the greatest extent, and the brightness again. Therefore, the brightness distribution of the building facade presents a scientific parabolic curve. Later, due to the needs of the unified planning of the Shenzhen Bay Area Government, the façade effects were arranged with dynamic patterns to meet the needs of overall control. Keep.

Facade node design is the biggest difficulty in this project. The building is complex in shape, the installation location is small, it is difficult to combine with the curtain wall, the contrast distance is long, the material to be illuminated is stainless steel and it is difficult to be illuminated, and a series of factors such as the effect of glare must be taken into account. After repeated coordination with architects, curtain wall consultants, electromechanical consultants and owners, we conducted a large number of computer simulations, actual office model simulations, lighting research, and multiple model tests. Finally, the vertical structure comparison method was adopted, and the lighting was hidden in the vertical direction. The side of the fin and the size of the groove fully consider the needs of pipe routing, lamp installation and angle adjustment.



Node Analysis


Lighting design is still difficult. The light-emitting angle needs to be precise, because it is necessary to illuminate the vertical stainless steel structure 3 meters away, but at the same time, it is necessary to control the overflow light into the room; another difficulty is to suppress the discomfort caused by the physical reflection in the tank, the glass surface, and the stainless steel. Therefore, in the structural design of the lamp, the method of using a double-layer asymmetric baffle is innovatively proposed. The internal baffle structure and surface material are specially treated, which effectively solves this problem.

For complex projects, model testing is still an effective way to predict effects and predict problems. We have also conducted a large number of prototype tests for the "Spring Bamboo Shoots" project.

The indoor public area also follows the "simplistic" style, which is simple but not simple.


The lobby on the first floor is transparent, atmospheric, elegant, intertwined with beauty and power. The special structural system allows the interior to form a "column-free" space, with refined shapes and modern materials rendered through lighting that impresses.


The lobby space was also quite challenging for lighting. The cube core façade and the folded diamond-like ceiling shape are the key points of the performance. We don’t want to set lamps on the ceiling to destroy the ceiling shape, but we also need to meet the functional use of the lobby of about 10 meters, and at the same time, we need to express the characteristics, so We cleverly placed the lamps on one side of the curtain wall, and used multiple adjustable projection lamps on the edge of the sloping ceiling to focus on the ceiling and façade.

The lighting in the sky lobby is scientific and orderly, and the lighting is combined with the ceiling to illuminate the space without affecting people's sight through the glass to the beautiful view of the sea, lake and garden in Shenzhen Bay.

In the drop-off area, the ceiling is made of gold foil, with a special and noble shape. It is still the design of the lamp without under-lighting, and the indirect lighting method is used to avoid glare, and to a certain extent, improve the sense of depression of the floor height, and at the same time create a dexterous atmosphere.
